Frequently Asked Questions
Why pick the Naked Editor?
I am really passionate about my job and I pride myself in providing work of the highest quality and excellent customer service. I genuinely enjoy what I do so you won’t be dealing with grumpy people reluctant to have a good chat with you about your project. I am not ashamed to say I love languages – the way language is structured, the way it can be fluid and constantly changing but at the same time keeping a strong backbone: grammar. I guess everybody is different: some people spend hours doing their Sudoku and crosswords; for me the best way to spend my time is reading and ensuring that language is always used at its best!

How long will it take you to carry out the work I give you?
Every project is different so it is impossible for me to give you a general amount of time encompassing such a wide range. I am very reliable and used to working to tight deadlines without compromising the quality of my work, so you can rest assured that once we have agreed a date for the return of your work, I'll stick to it.
How can I get a quote?
All you need to do is go to the contact form page and provide a description of the project you'd like me to carry out.
In order for me to be able to have a better idea of the length and the cost of the work, please try to give as much information as possible. However, all the details will be confirmed during the subsequent consultation.
Do I have to pay anything in advance?
No. The initial consultation is free and informal, so you can just call me for a quick chat and then decide whether to continue.
Will I be charged for extras?
No. I'll regularly keep in touch with you and (if you agree) the author to ensure that you are happy with the way things are progressing. Communication and customer satisfaction are key in my job so I don't expect you to be paying extra for them.
However, phone calls outside the EU will be charged and presented to you in a clear, itemised bill.
Printing paper and CDs are provided free of charge.
Postage payment is charged to the customer. However, if your office is in London, I'll be happy to drop off the finished work myself, saving you any additional costs.
Would you be available for travelling to our offices?
Yes, certainly. I understand the need to know who is working for you so I'll be happy to come to your office so you can have a better idea of whether I am the person you are looking for.
However, please keep in mind that if your office is really far away from London, I'll be charging travelling costs.
Is there the possibility of some work being done in-house should the need arise?
I am available to work in-house if your project requires it. However, this is subject to my availability.
I have a very small query; could I ask you a simple question? Will I be charged for it?
I am always happy to hear from you and quick queries are free of charge. Just email me at enquiries@thenakededitor.co.uk. I'll make sure you have your answer very soon.
What about confidentiality?
You can rest assured that the contents of the works you send me will not be divulged to any third party.
